The relation between homocysteine and fibromyalgia
Homocysteine is an amino acid, so much of which may be harmful to nerves and blood flow, and can result in enhanced susceptibility to pain and/or heart disease. If there is not sufficiently vitamin B-12, the amount of homocysteine decreases. As B-12 levels rise, the level of homocysteine decreases.
Sources of vitamin B12
Vitamin B-12 is developed solely in the digestive tract of animals. The best B-12 food type is beef liver and clams. Many natural sources include beef, fruit, eggs and dairy products. Few breakfast cereals are fortified with B-12; however, they do not produce ample quantities to be used as the primary dietary source.

What causes B12 deficiency?
Vitamin B12 deficiency is not typically induced by inadequate food consumption, but instead by a loss of secretion of an endogenous component. In order for the B-12 derived from the diet to be consumed by the body, it must be bound to a protein called an intestinal factor which is secreted in the stomach.
Vitamin B-12 can not be consumed without an underlying component. Digestive disorders such as celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, and irritable bowel syndrome, bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine, or parasite that obstruct the absorption of B-12 and result in vitamin B-12 deficiency.
Diagnosis of vitamin B12 deficiency
Since there are no documented adverse risks, including at very large levels, clinicians may sometimes recommend vitamin B-12 based on signs and risk factors rather than deficiency checking. The methyl-malonyl coenzyme A check in the urine gives a more precise reading of B-12 abundance in the body. B-12 deficiency can be challenging to detect as B-12 plasma blood levels can be measured as normal. B-12 accumulating in the blood does not mean that the cells in the body are functioning correctly.
B12 deficiency is not the main cause of fibromyalgia, nor does further B12 cure the condition. Deficiency is, indeed, a disease inside or because of sickness. Developing a B12 consumption routine has demonstrated promising and sometimes life-changing effects.
